My Predictor.com Rules

The Game
Each week there will be a list of all the games for that round for entrants to predict.
Each round will vary in the number of games required, with the first rounds in the tournament requiring more games to be predicted.
Each prediction will be Home win, Away win or Draw and will require the predicted goal score for each match.

Scoring
Points will be scored as follows

• Correct score- 3pts
• Correct prediction- 1pt

A correct score is where the score is exactly the same as you predicted. For example, you predict the score is 3-1; the final score is 3-1; you get 3pts.

A correct prediction, is where the result is the same (home win, away win, draw) but the score is different. For example, you predict the score is 3-1; the final score is 5-4; you get 1pt

The scores for each game will be added to your overall total.

The Prizes
Two prizes will be awarded

• one to the overall winner (i.e. the most points at the end of the tournament)
• one to the mini-league league with the highest scoring average

Confirmation of the prizes will be made at the start of the competition.

Overall Winner
The overall winner will be the individual with the highest total number of points at the end of the tournament or game phase.
In the event of a draw, the winner will be the individual with the highest correct score predictions
If the individuals are still tied, then it will be the individual who submitted their final score first

Mini League Winner
Mini- leagues with the highest scoring average must have five or more players
The average score will be the total points accumulated by the top five members of that league divided by five.
In the event of a draw between two mini leagues, the winning league will be the one with the highest average of correct scores.
The Administrator of the winning Mini-league will be contacted and the prize posted to them.

Entry
Entry is free and all entries and predictions must be made online via the mypredictor.com site
Only one entry per person will be accepted.

Entry Conditions
Incorrect, incomplete or corrupted entries will not be accepted.
The computer record of the entry will be considered to be the entry.
The decision of the organiser on the interpretation of the rules will be final.

Email Address
IMPORTANT: You must enter a valid e-mail address.
Mypredictor.com will notify winners via e-mail.
If your registered address is invalid then you can not be notified if you have won
Your e-mail address will never be passed on to any third party.

Prediction Deadline
The predictions must be entered ten minutes before the deadline. Predictions can be changed at any point up until the deadline time. It will not be possible to enter a prediction later than this.

Predictions
Predictions will be made available seven days in advance where possible.
You may change your predictions at anytime before the deadline. The new predictions will replace the old ones.
Any attempt to alter predictions after the deadline will be rejected.
Anyone not entering their predictions, for whatever reason, will be automatically entered as a 0-0 draw. If the game results in a 0-0 draw, they will be given only 1pt.

Postponed/ Re-arranged Games
Games that are postponed, rearranged or not played on the date published on mypredictor.com, will not be included for prediction, and will not score any points.
Predictions made for games that are postponed will be cancelled. You will have to enter your prediction again should the rescheduled game appear in a later round of the tournament.

Mini-Leagues
A Mini-League allows you and your friends to see your results in you own league, as well as in the main league.
After registering you'll be able to create a MiniLeague code and password, send this code and password to your friends and they can join your league.
